Sources

Every claim in a guide or chart cites the vendor page it relies on. If we find no vendor statement, we mark it “Unverified” — we do not fill gaps with guesses or forum hearsay.

What “checked” means

We compare public vendor information. We do not physically test products, and nothing here is a certification, warranty or guarantee. Verify with the seller before you buy.

Updates

Each page shows a “Last checked” date. Pages are re-researched when they get old or when a new product appears. Research may use automated tools, but changes are reviewed by a person before publishing. Live eBay listings are shown by code and are never written or altered by AI.

Money

We earn from eBay Partner Network links. Coverage is never bought and no vendor pays for placement — see the affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

Spot an error? Email us with the page and the vendor link. We correct confirmed mistakes and update the “Last checked” date. Guide pages also have a report form: reports go to a review queue and nothing on the page changes until a person has checked the vendor source.

Reader reports

Readers can say whether a kit fitted their shell. Those counts appear only once a pair has a few reports, are labelled as reader reports, and never change a cell's status on their own — the status always comes from a vendor statement. We hide counts that look manipulated. We store a one-way hash of the sender's IP address to limit repeat votes, never the address itself.
